I work for the government of the United
States of America. Actually, to be completely honest, I am one of
the few United States Marines. I travel the world and fight the wars.
The life of a Marine is difficult in that we don't always get a lot
of time to ourselves. On ship, we don't have internet, same goes for
war, training, exercises and what-not. I do however have the internet
at home. And on a few occasions, I do SEO for profit and fun. I enjoy
doing SEO because its more of a game then it is for profit for me.
I see a challenge and I take it. Once complete I usually leave it
alone. Same goes for my websites; I find a niche, dominate it, then
leave it alone. Whatever money I make from this is purely for fun.
Anyway, sometimes I run into niches that require comments on high
PR blogs because the competition has already hit many blogs as well
but most of them are low, if any, PR. My job is to get high PR back
links to ride over their website in the SERPs. I started to look &
shop around for a tool/script that would find high PR blogs and comment
on them. Most I found were hundreds of dollars and I tend to stick
to the free, open source programs so these couldn't do. Then a friend
showed my Comment Kahuna. The best and first thing I noticed was that
it was free. I downloaded it and was on my way. The interface is very
easy to use and it offered quite versatile options. Random commenter
info, options for the blogs that I wanted to target and a save option.
This was all a plus because the person who I was showing how to use
this was my computer illiterate wife. But she quickly learned how
to browse to each blog and post the comment without a problem. With
her behind the wheel and me on ship doing my Marine things, I felt
it would have little impact on how much traffic it brought to my website
in it's competitive niche. When I returned, I was very surprised to
see my website ranking in the top 3 for the niche I had challenged.
I couldn't believe that just using Comment Kahuna I could achieve
such results. In fact, I achieved so many hits that the server owner
had to take my website off line due to problems with bandwidth. But
low and behold, after another month with Kahuna, I got #1 and completed
my challenge. Now there isn't a challenge I enter without Comment
